One-year.

The course

The Cambridge IGCSE Enterprise uniquely integrates the business world into the classroom, offering learners a clear perspective on entrepreneurial thinking. It encourages students to adopt the mindset and actions of entrepreneurs, enhancing their understanding of the practical aspects of starting and managing a new enterprise. This syllabus equips learners with essential life skills in planning, organisation, communication, and financial management.

The objectives are to help students grasp the concept of being enterprising and the necessary skills; foster the ability to work independently and enterprisingly; apply knowledge and skills to current enterprise issues in various contexts; understand the roles and viewpoints of different people and organisations in enterprise, including ethical considerations; explore the world of work and entrepreneurial organisations; communicate effectively in diverse situations using appropriate techniques; and effectively use relevant terms, concepts, and methods when discussing enterprise and entrepreneurial behaviour.

As part of the course, you will develop your enterprise skills by planning and implementing their own enterprise project. This project will give you the opportunity to gain practical experience.
