The course

ICT IGCSE isn’t just about computers—it’s about how technology shapes the world around us! In this course, you’ll dive into the latest innovations, from cutting-edge hardware and networks to smart systems that power businesses, healthcare, and entertainment. You’ll discover how technology is used in real-world applications and explore the future of digital advancements. This course goes beyond theory, giving you hands-on experience with real-world software and digital tools. If you’re curious about how technology connects people and powers industries, ICT will give you the skills and knowledge to navigate the digital world with confidence!

As a distinct course from Computer Science, ICT will suit students who have an interest in utilising business IT systems and gaining expertise in several different pieces of software. Understanding systems brings a unique perspective into technology used in a business environment which will support students taking Business at both GCSE and A Level or those thinking of a career in management and/or marketing.
